Falcon Timber is part of the Consolidated Timber Holdings (CTH) group who supply sustainable timber products across the UK and Ireland. Falcon Timber is our national distribution arm and Hoffman Triesse our multi-site manufacturing operation, which allows us to offer a truly one stop solution for our diverse range of customers. To continue our success in the Leeds and Liverpool areas, we are seeking a driven and inspirational Regional Site Director to help the teams deliver their budget, being fully accountable for both Sales and Operations. This is a newly created position, and will offer the successful candidate lots of scope to develop the region and bring in new ideas. 

 

What are my key deliverables going to be? 

*             Exceed P&L budget level performance at both sites

*             Track and manage sales against site forecast and budget dashboards on a daily / weekly / monthly basis

*             Ensure significant regular management presence at both sites, ratio to depend on business requirements

*             Drive development and delivery of strategic goals at both sites

*             Provide regular performance reports to the Managing Director - Trading

*             Set and review clear goals and objectives for team members at both sites.

*             Identify and implement commercial improvements to drive operational excellence

*             Optimise inventory management to meet customer demand in line with company stock KPIs

 

So, what does that look like on a day to day basis?

*             Full P&L responsibility for performance against budget at both sites

*             Development of multi-site complementary sales and business growth strategy

*             Management / overview of existing and new key customer relationships

*             Delivery of central and locally generated campaigns and projects

*             Manage both sites’ relationship with the National Accounts Team to coordinate activity with the major merchant groups

*             Recruitment, management and professional development of the commercial teams

*             Development of strong working relationships with other Site Directors, Product Managers and the Senior Exec Team

*             Control of multi-site complementary stock inventories

*             Successful introduction and development of new ranges

*             Achieve and maintain exceptional health and safety compliance and audit performance outcomes across both sites

 

What are we looking for in a Regional Site Director? 

*             Track record of successful multi-site business unit management

*             Focussed on higher value / margin business development to a wide range of customer sectors

*             Excellent people management skills

*             Strong sales planning experience including multi-site collaboration

*             Experience of timber products and related market sectors an advantage

*             Clear and effective leadership style, with a track record of developing capabilities within teams.

*             Collaborative working approach, able to form good relationships across the business
